Year pillar switches at the start of spring — the moment the sun reaches 315° of ecliptic longitude, worked out here to within about a quarter of an hour, so births in the first days of February land on the right side of it. Birth times are read as Beijing time, with no correction for the longitude you were actually born at. Only the first four rows are counted above.
